We Need Your Help

Effective June 15, 2026, OWL Therapy Services will pause acceptance of new Minnesota Medical Assistance (MA) clients and will temporarily suspend services for MA-only clients until our Medicaid provider revalidation is completed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS).

What You Can Do

If you are concerned about how provider revalidation delays may affect your child's access to therapy services, we recommend contacting the following offices in this order:

1. Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS)

○ DHS oversees the provider revalidation process and has the greatest ability to address enrollment and revalidation delays.

2. Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP) Member Help Desk

○ Report how delays are affecting your child's access to medically necessary therapy services.

3. Your State Representative and State Senator

○ State legislators oversee DHS operations, funding, and policy and can advocate on behalf of constituents.

4. Federal Representatives

○ While federal officials do not directly oversee Minnesota's provider enrollment process, they may be interested in understanding how administrative barriers affect access to healthcare services for children and families.

SUGGESTED MESSAGE

"My child receives medically necessary therapy services through Minnesota Medical Assistance. Due to delays in the state's provider revalidation process, our provider has gone months without reimbursement and has forced our provider to pause services. I am concerned that administrative delays are limiting access to therapy services for Minnesota children. Please help ensure that provider revalidation applications are processed promptly and that families do not lose access to medically necessary care because of administrative backlogs.”
