Therapy Assistant Technician / Front Desk

At OWL Therapy Services, we provide speech and occupational therapy to children and adults in a supportive, family-focused environment. We are seeking a Therapy Assistant Technician / Front Desk team member who is compassionate, dependable, and energized by helping patients and families thrive.
Position Overview
This unique position combines therapy support with front desk and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced environment, is attentive to detail, and finds fulfillment in both behind-the-scenes work and meaningful patient interaction.
Responsibilities
Therapy Support (50–70%)

Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients and families.

Support patient engagement by demonstrating enthusiasm, encouragement, and positive reinforcement.

Assist therapists with session preparation and cleanup (e.g., organizing therapy materials, sanitizing equipment, setting up treatment spaces).

Create and assemble materials for sessions (research, Canva graphics, laminating, etc.).
Front Desk & Administrative (30–50%)

Greet patients and families warmly, creating a welcoming clinic atmosphere.

Manage patient inquiries and questions, and assist with scheduling appointments.

Maintain organization in the waiting room and therapy spaces.

Assist with basic office tasks, including scanning, filing, and data entry.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in healthcare, education, or related fields preferred.

Prior experience in a therapy, healthcare, childcare, or customer service setting is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and staff.

Ability to multitask and remain flexible in a dynamic clinical environment.

Schedule

Monday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Tuesday – Friday: 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. *hours may be negotiable

Total: 28 hours/week
